Before the Rain

Lashed with wind and rain we are. But the promised storm didn't begin unloading until the light was gone...as usual in SoCal. Before the rain began, I retreated to the backyard to document its status before the rain. Here's what I found:


OK, the first one's not in the backyard yet, but.... Getting comfy and cozy before the rain -- though we did have to go out for Lessons and Carols tonight.


Our neighbor's camellia tree has commenced its annual explosion. I feel lucky to enjoy it every year.


The Meyer lemon tree is laden with fruit that screams to be used. I'm feeling some lemon chicken coming on.


SeniorCitizenGR likes to interfere with the making of art (especially when it involves his mommy lying on the ground).
