The Red-Leaf Tree...

...looks like this now. I think it happened overnight. Spring is on its way. The days are becoming longer, just perceptibly; when I arrived home today, there was light enough for me to see to clean dog poo out of the yard.

Spring seems a little early this year, partly because Lent has started already. By Easter it should be in full bloom.

i'm ready for spring. utterly. i have thoroughly enjoyed our rain, but it was nice to have today be in the 70s. kids wore shorts to school.

this photo is rapidly becoming one of my favorites of the month. i wish i could claim genius; this photo just gave itself away. :)
