Oooh, so pretty! It's neat to see the wildflowers surrounding the hydrants; both the urban landscape and the natural world are showing off their colors.

thanks, you both. of the three i took, this is the one i preferred. it got the color arrangements just right. i still don't like the car in the background, but i don't really do much photoshopping. i still like the shot. it appeals to my eye.
