So you do get the summer off - right? Right?
I hope so.
Madeleine refers to Wrinkle in Time?
Geranium is lovely, Lovely Lovely in the sun hope you get to sit in a spot of sun for a few minutes today.
Spring Break- it's time! I hope your student finds some good resources to continue her education, whatever choice she makes.
gawdess~ I *do* get summer off, thank God -- a necessity with this job. I haven't taught summer school in several years and don't intend to do so now -- it's why I save my pennies during the school year.
This summer is my second summer of classes for my master's program. It's full days Tues. through Thurs. But of course, it's a different kind of work, a different part of the brain, and entirely enjoyable for me.
Madeleine, yes, as in Wrinkle in Time. If you go to my very first post in the archive, you'll see what inspired me to finally start this blog thing.
No sun today (indoors grading -- progress reports due tomorrow), but a nice sunset, anyway.
lomagirl~ spring break indeed! mendocino here i come! i hope my student finds good resources, too, but she hasn't shown a pattern of clear-headed thinking recently, as evidenced by her spate of, oh, ten full or partial day ditches. she's intending to keep the child; she turns sixteen in a couple of weeks, so i guess she's mature now. her loser eighteen-year-old bf sleeps on his parents' couch. i wish i were more hopeful.
