This is the series I'd like assistance with. Which one strikes you as the best, and why?

I like the lack of shine on the first exposure, the colour is subtler and deeper on the flower.

The color is good on the first one- so that one, yeah. The second is two contrasty from the flash, and the third is a little dull.

I like the first one. The stamens are in sharper focus than in the bottom one, and I also prefer that the center is not blown out at all.

see, this is why i do this, because i was thinking i preferred #3. i liked it because it's lighter and a bit softer. i'll have to go scrutinize them again in full-screen mode.
