Obvious
Oh, and I finished the Jodi Picoult book last night -- stayed up to do it. I was right. I had figured it out, by page 8. Disappointed about that part, but I still enjoyed the book. Certain lengthy sections of explication about religion dragged. She always manages to be easy to read and still give you something to think about.

I was a big fan of My Sister's Keeper. I wonder should I steer clear of this one?
i enjoyed _my sister's keeper_, too. it's the first of hers that i read. although i'll admit that i thought her ending was a cheap shot. i think my favorite of hers is _plain truth._ my second favorite would probably be _the pact._ i enjoyed reading _nineteen minutes_, as well.
no, i wouldn't advise steering clear if you like her style. it's in keeping with her usual ways; it's just a little more obvious. the characters are still enjoyable.
